*Important New Travel Rules
As of January 1, passengers are no longer permitted to pack loose lithium batteries in checked luggage. The new regulation is designed to reduce the risk of lithium battery fires. Air travelers may still place lithium batteries in checked baggage, but only if they are installed in electronic devices like laptops (although we would recommend against placing valuable items like laptops in checked bags). Additionally, passengers may also have loose batteries in carry-on bags, but only if they are stored in plastic bags.
