CTP is, quite simply, the manifestation of Christy’s determination and passion. Her unique combination of business savvy and instinct created both the growth and mission of CTP. With such a dynamic leader at the helm, CTP has garnered countless awards and accolades for its services. Yet despite her success and that of the company, Christy remains one of the most approachable and involved CEOs one could ever hope to meet. That aspect of her personality has been instilled within the company -
approachable and involved could describe everyone within the CTP family.
Christy has dedicated more than 17 years of her life to the travel industry, educating
and immersing herself in every aspect of the business. In 1991 with just one employee, Christy launched what is now CTP and under her guidance the company grew in both staff and sales, reporting $110 million in sales by 2001. CTP has gone on to earn the Fast Track Award for the Top 40 fastest growing businesses between 1997 and 2000 and was ranked number seven on the list of Top Women-Owned Businesses in
San Antonio. Additionally, CTP has been listed as one of the top 25 travel agencies every year since 1992. Christy, as CTP’s founder and leader, has been recognized with the Enterprising Women’s Award in 1998 and 1999.
As CTP’s president, Teresa’s primary role is overseeing operations. Yet CTP’s
client-friendly size and customer-centered approach to business allow her to be more accessible and involved than most presidents could ever be. Much of her day is spent working with clients and account management teams, using her warm and direct style
to ensure that our service always exceeds our clients’ expectations.
Teresa, a graduate of the University of Arizona at Tucson, began her travel
industry career in 1989. She came to San Antonio to work as an on-site agent for American Express Travel Related Services at H-E-B. She was quickly promoted to
a management position where she earned H-E-B’s “Pacesetter” award for her
commitment to customer service. Teresa joined the CTP team in 1998 as the manager of Corporate Travel, overseeing 30 agents, quality support staff, customer service and operations. Two years later she was named Vice President of Corporate Travel, and in 2003 was promoted to President of CTP.
In 1996 CTP launched Event Planning, a new service to support corporate clients
in all aspects of their events. Kim joined the CTP family as the new service’s
Director and immediately hit the ground running. 1998 found her taking on greater responsibility as Special Events merged with other divisions to become Group,
Meeting and Incentive Travel. Kim was quickly promoted to Vice President as she followed one success with another. The reason for her continued success is obvious
to anyone who has met her: Kim quite simply refuses to believe that anything is impossible.
And she’ll do what it takes to make the impossible possible.
Kim’s travel career commenced in 1979 at American Airlines, after graduation
from Braniff Education Systems. Her initial responsibilities focused on commuter
conversions, but she was soon elevated to the role of Sales Representative
East/West Coast Territory where she was rewarded for her work in increasing AA’s market share. A transfer to San Antonio soon followed with her next promotion to outside sales. Kim has become deeply involved in her new hometown’s community, most notably serving as a board member for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Friends of The Ronald McDonald House.
With her proactive attitude and consummate professionalism, Melissa keeps
the work flowing smoothly through CTP. As Director of Client Relations, she
oversees client relations for all accounts, further deepening our relationships by ensuring clients’ needs are met expeditiously and correctly.
Since her introduction to the travel industry more than 9 years ago, Melissa’s enthusiasm and dedication to her clients has marked her career. Recruited from American Airlines to assume a supervisory position with Rennert Travel, a CTP subsidiary, she went on to become a Million Dollar Agent seven years running.
In 2003, she garnered the Top Sales Agent Award. Her extensive experience
and strong communication skills are essential to her role as client advocate and
to the continued elevation of our Client Relations Department.
Lili returned to CTP in 2007 and with her return she brought a vast array of experience and expertise. Lili is a real leader and a definite "Can Do" person. No task or responsibility is too big or too small for her to tackle with an outstanding professional attitude.
She is a 1990 graduate of San Antonio's Thomas E. Clark High School. After attending college for a few semesters she decided to pursue a career in travel. She graduated from SST Travel School and began her career as a travel agent.
Lili has been in the travel industry for 17 years as a leisure, corporate and government agent. After gaining a diverse knowledge of the many aspects of the travel industry she achieved the positions of Government Travel Manager, Operations Manager, and Human Resource Manager.
When she returned to CTP she was promoted to her present position which entails much responsibility and dedication to CTP, her peers and fellow employees. She is truly an asset to the overall operation of the departments she heads. Not only does she have experience but she has the enthusiasm it requires to meet the level of management CTP requires.
Lili is also a supportive wife to husband David and mother of a son and daughter. She is very active with her children’s schooling and is actively involved in their sports and other extra curricular activities.

Stacie has been in the travel industry for the past 20 years and has experience in many different aspects of the travel business. She began her career as a leisure vacation agent after attending a couple years of college. She then broadened her travel knowledge and became a corporate agent. Stacie has been an employee with CTP for the past 10 years as a most successful corporate agent. She has received many awards for being a Million Dollar Sales Agent within the CTP agency.
Being a very driven person, Stacie decided to complete her college education while still maintaining her position as a CTP corporate agent. This goal demanded a lot of coordination and dedication as she was foremost a wife and mother of two active young sons. Stacie managed her CTP position, her family responsibilities and graduated in 2004 from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor in Business Administration degree.
Soon after her graduation she had the opportunity to apply for the CTP position of Human Resources Manager. Stacie was awarded the position due to her travel industry experience, educational accomplishments and outstanding people skills.
